Description
Commissioned by cypheroftyr, spawnpoint of #INeedDiverseGames (ineeddivgms.info/). This is Maximillian "Max" Trevelyan, her Inquisitor from Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Inquisitor Maximillian Trevelyan, good son, devoted to the Chantry, family and Andraste for all of his life; stumbled into things well beyond his experience. He was chosen by Her to make Her will known and done, well that's that he thought before entering the Fade where it all went to pieces. All that he was sure of, that he was raised to believe was shattered in a few moments of revelation.
It made him bitter, unhappy to know that what he'd so believed was a lie, that his Mark, that accursed thing cast upon him was a mere happenstance, divine bad luck as Varric called it. It changed him, some say for the better when he shed his foolish idealism; others thought he was darker, less compassionate after learning the truth. Regardless of what people thought of him, he beat Corypheus, saved Thedas but lost Cassandra to the very faith he'd since lost.

His story actually makes me sad, and you can see the sadness in his eyes like he has given up. It's very unique compared to the constant Lavellan spam.
