My gift to ~RCD-Anon for the final chapter of her story, [WARNING FOR EXTREME MATURE CONTENT] Elysium

Wow, it's been eight long months since I first did art for ~RCD-Anon... time really flies by, doesn't it?

Here's a portrait of Riona Cousland, her main character for her fic. First time I tried to incorporate some symbolism in my art; they're in the accessories, all three of them.

Rose, earring, chalice. :P Not too hard to figure out what each one means :)

It's been a fruitful journey, and making art for you has been a wonderful challenge for me artistically. I'm grateful to have my art featured with your fanfic!

Photoshop CS5 Extended with a little support from Painter 12 :) it's about 80-20 percent time split between the two :D

Painter 12's the main tool I use for getting that "painterly" look in, as you can imagine, as well as for blending, because "blending" in photoshop tends to result in excess desaturation. But Photoshop's where most of the painting work is done, and it has colour tweaking/pixel warping tools that Painter doesn't have.
